This recipe is a no brainer. Especially if salmon is on sale. I think this may be the easiest recipe in my arsenal. And it’s good.
I tend to find salmon, and fish in general, to be a little bland. I rarely order in at restaurants for this reason. So I’m picky about my fish recipes. But this is quite tasty – plenty of flavor, yet it doesn’t overpower the salmon. It can be a little spicy though, just so you know. I like spicy.
And when I buy my salmon, I ask the guy at the fish counter to cut the skin off for me (Yes they’ll do that. Changed my life when I figured it out). So I don’t even have to deal with that nasty, slimy skin. Blegh.
So if you like salmon, and want something SUPER quick and SUPER easy with plenty of flavor, this is the recipe for you.
Enjoy!
Creole Salmon
Ingredients
Salmon (however much you need to feed the number of people you have – I usually get about 3/4 lb for two people)
Tony Chacheres Original Creole Seasoning (you could try another creole seasoning, but this is what I use)
Directions
1. Cut the salmon into the right number of filets.
2. Put the salmon into a baking dish. I line mine with aluminum foil to make clean up easier.
3. Sprinkle the seasoning onto the salmon. The more you use, the spicier and more flavorful it will be.
4. Bake at 400 for about 18-20 minutes or until cooked.
Is that easy or what?
