My go-to gift for any kind of occasion is food. Of course. Not only do I like making things, but making things that are flavors and treats that someone really likes. Besides, a sweet tasty treat is the answer to everything. And if the way to a man’s heart is really through his stomach, then why not use that to your advantage for Father’s Day?
So I’ve done you a favor and gotten together a great list of some super manly treats to make for the man in your life!
First up is my dad’s favorite kind of treat. He’s a cookie guy. He loves oatmeal raisin cookies and cookie cakes are standard for his birthday. I have a Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake that makes any store-bought cake shrivel with shame. And just for the Pops, I also have an Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Cake with Cinnamon Maple Icing that is awesome if you love oatmeal or want to switch things up.
These Bacon Maple Cinnamon Rolls From Crazy For Crust look awesome! The perfect blend of sweet and savory for breakfast!
My dad is a big baked bean fan. These Bourbon Maple Slow Clocker Baked Beans from Averie Cooks look awesome. Plus they’re made in with a crock pot. Score!
Dude Food Magic Bars From Sugar Hero! Bacon, pretzels, chocolate, peanut butter, potato chips and caramel. I’m in man food heaven.
Beer and pork totally says man food. Beer Marinated Pork Chops with Peach Salsa from She Knows.
Chocolate Covered Pretzels with Maple Smoked Bacon Crumbles by Butterlust. How awesome do those look?
Though my dad’s not really a beer guy, most men are and I can’t imagine anyone saying no to this tasty looking Cheesy Beer Quick Bread from Gotta Get Baked.
Steakhouse Pizza from Pioneer Woman. Marlboro Man approved.
Anything covered in sugar makes my list. Sugar-covered bacon? Yes, please! Red Chili and Sugar Cured Bacon from Jane Spice.
These BBQ Chicken Mini Pizzas from Lemon Tree Dwelling look awesome.
Bourbon Bacon Brownies with Bourbon Caramel Sauce by SheKnows. Drooling yet??
Three Meat Italian Pie is a classic for us. The combo of italian seasoning and different meats is perfect!
And last, but not least, these Hanging Neck Tie Cookies from Semi Sweet Designs are adorable. Not exactly man food, but totally awesome.
I hope these tasty man foods make your man happy for Father’s Day! I’m sure he deserves it! π
Enjoy!

Since the girls are never around for Fathers Day, I have to do something special for the dad. I’m thinking there are some things here he’d like. Man pizza…I like that!
Yum! What a great collection! Pinned!
Thanks Julie!
*Excited squeal* Lindsay, thanks so much for featuring my cheesy beer bread! I love the title of this post: “Man Food”. You can’t get manlier than that! And say whaaaa? Your dad’s not a big fan of beer? I’m sure he’d love it in bread form – carbs in carbs, what’s not to love? Everything you’ve listed here sounds delicious (those bourbon bacon brownies are calling my name).
Thank you! And yes, my dad is a strange one but he passed that on to me as well. π Beer in bread and cheese (and cooking in general) is awesome though! I’ve been wanting to make your bread since I saw it. The pictures are awesome!
Thanks so much for featuring my hanging necktie cookies, Lindsay!! And what a great round up of Man Food! Makes me inspired to create a cookie that’s bacon related. π Have a great weekend!
Thanks Mike! I love those cookies – so clever! π
