Hi, my name is Lindsay.
This blog is my place to share all the things I love – my life, my loves and most importantly SUGAR!
I love making awesome cakes and treats and decorating beautiful cakes when I have the time. It’s just not always good for me. ๐ฆ I’m not someone that can eat whatever I want and not have to think twice. Bummer, right?
I’m also an avid dinner maker. I’d much rather eat something I cook at night. It seems healthier and more cost efficient. And it’s fun to try new recipes.
I love being crafty as well, I just seem to not make as much time for it as I’d like. I used to sew constantly when I was younger. I’d stay up until 4 in the morning just to see the dress (or whatever) I was making finished. Usually my late nights are spent on cakes now. So I hope to have some DIY and craft stuff eventually.
Which brings me to this – if you stick around long enough, I hope to eventually share our adventures with having kids and the fun times that will come with that. I already have visions of nurseries dancing in my head and I imagine there will be quite a bit of DIY that will come with that. So stay tuned! The whole baby thing is still a work in progress, if you know what I mean. ๐

Thanks for following my blog! I’m so glad it led me back here to yours because I love it! I too am a perfectionist, Disney loving, sugar craving, puppy mom :-). And as an Auburn fan, I like the Carolina Panthers because of Cam Newton!

Hi Lindsay, I have just stumbled across your blog after seeing a comment on the Easybaked blog which i love. It is crazy how similar we are! Just to start with, I am also a wife and puppy mum, and we have an adorable black lab puppy too. I met my husband when I was 18 and he is most definitely my best friend.
Your blog is beautiful, really looking forward to having an explore! It is always great to come across a similar soul. : )
Thank you! I’m glad you found it too! I checked out your blog as well and you have some great looking recipes!
Hi, I really enjoyed your blog! You sound alot like me (when I was younger,I’m 50), even now in some things. I don’t know the first thing about blogging as I am a facebooker. I would LOVE to read more about your crafts if I can find you again. I love decorating cakes too & would love to see yours.I would like to be your friend, if that’s the way this works ๐
You are a very pretty young lady!!
Thanks Deborah! I’m glad you like the blog!
Hey girl hey! I’m finally getting around to doing this and the tastiness going on here is totally worth it. I’m passing on the Liebster Award to you. Squee! But mostly I’m excited to have found your blog so I can keep seeing the tasty things you come up with! (That puppy chow is ABSOLUTELY my project for next Saturday so my family and I can munch it all day St Pat’s. I’m so excited.)

Thanks Bekah!
Thanks for following my blog!! Your blog is ridiculously scrumptious!! Can’t wait to follow along – keep it up ๐
Your prom dress is the bees knees. And I want to steal your puppy. Not a Carolina fan, but I do live here and approve of your love for football. We’ll get along nicely… You’ll see.
Haha, thanks! The puppy isn’t so much a puppy anymore, but still the cutest dog ever!
Found you via Pinterest, I LOVE that you’re a puppy momma too! I have 3, 1 of which is also a black lab. Millie just turned 3 last week, then I have a yellow Lab named Duncan and a tiny little Poodle named who is the complete opposite of the other two. I love my babies!
I saw mentioned of the Panthers in one of your posts, I’m assuming you are referring to the Carolina Panthers? You’re not by chance from NC are you? If so that’s really cool because I’m from Charlotte.
Hi Justin! I’m glad you found me! Sounds like you have some great pups as well! They bring so much joy don’t they? ๐
I’m definitely talking about the Carolina Panthers! I don’t live in NC anymore, but I grew up in Charlotte. We go back for some games during the season with my family, who still lives there.
So cool! I grew up in Waxhaw, NC and still live there! Waxhaw is like forty minutes away from Charlotte!! ๐
That’s awesome! We live in Atlanta, GA now but I’d love to get back to Charlotte one day. ๐
Love that! I was born and raised in Charlotte. Where did you go to high school? (If you don’t want to mention that since I’m a complete stranger and this is the internet I totally understand!) Judging from you photos we’re probably either around the same age or you’re a little younger, but considering the size of the city it’s unlikely we went to the same school(s). Awesome to find a blogger who grew up in Charlotte too AND has a black Lab. Those two things alone tell me you’re good people! lol
Haha, thanks! I went to North Meck.
I went to Butler, so totally opposite sides of town right? lol
